Garage Reimagined

A garage conversion designed around how this family actually lives. The Shaker-Style cabinetry is finished in a soft rose, with a birch interior for the fold-down art station, concealed storage, and a built-in spot for a TV.

François did an amazing job of bringing my garage idea to life, creating a multi-purpose custom build that can function as a workout space for myself, a creative art zone for my daughter and extra storage. His craftsmanship and attention to detail with an excellent eye for design made the project easy and fun.

White Oak Console

Our client needed a custom console to fit a specific nook in her home. We worked closely with her to design a modern piece in white oak with clean, simple lines. To keep the look light and uncluttered, we built finger pulls into the edges of the doors in place of traditional hardware.

François make the entire process effortless, thoughtfully translating my vision into a beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind piece. His workmanship is outstanding, and his ability to design around the unique constraints of a San Francisco Victorian made all the difference.

Modern Walnut Vanity

For her bathroom remodel, our client asked for a walnut vanity that felt modern and quiet. We designed and built it with solid walnut fronts, matching the grain so it flows uninterrupted from one door to the next. Finger pulls along the top edges replace hardware, letting the wood take center stage.

Minimalist Storage Bench

Our client's backyard yoga studio needed storage, but she wanted it to feel calm and natural. We designed and built a pair of identical storage benches in rift-sawn white oak, with clean lines and a straight, quiet grain. Sized to fit the room, they can sit side by side or apart, so the space can change with her practice.

François was able to create something exactly as I had envisioned it and he executed it flawlessly. I couldn’t be more happy with the quality and beauty of my custom oak storage benches.

Under Staircase Storage

Our clients had an open, underused space beneath their staircase and a wine collection that needed a home. We turned it into seamless built-in storage, with handleless white cabinetry that follows the angle of the stairs. 

The closet looks so great! I don’t want to put anything inside though because it’s so perfect.

Children’s Closet

Like many families in older San Francisco homes, this couple needed more storage in their children's room. The original Victorian closet was hard to reach, wasted much of its space, and had become a place for things nobody used. We replaced it with a built-in closet in soft sage, with open shelving and hanging rods at a child's height so the kids can pick out their own clothes. Doors for the open sections can be added in a few years for a more finished look.

Farm Sign

Krystal Acres, a farm on San Juan Island, WA, wanted a sign with as much personality as the farm itself. Using the wood and artwork they provided, we built an arched panel from their planks and used a CNC machine to carve the design into it, bringing out every detail from the texture of the fleece to the chicken's feathers. It's a friendly greeting for everyone who arrives.

We have had several projects designed and completed for us by Brahic and Co. love working with François and Wendy. Great communication through the design phase, great in progress updates, beautiful finished products! Can’t recommend them enough!

Rustic Dining Table

Summer meals on this farm happen outdoors, in the garden, and the table needed to look at home there. We chose three wide, rough-sawn Douglas fir planks from a local mill and let their natural character set the tone, paired with turned legs for a classic farmhouse feel.

Mini Workshop

A design firm asked us to level up their prototyping workshop. We worked with them to design and build a large angled workbench, tailored to their space. It gives them easy access to well-organized tools and supplies, and it doubles as a polished area to show off to clients.

Shaker-Style Writing Desk

Our clients wanted a simple desk that could also serve as a stand for their clavichord. We worked together to design a Shaker-inspired writing desk in white oak that does both, with tapered legs and a gently curved apron.

François made a well-proportioned, elegant writing table for us. His work is of very high quality. He is a careful craftsman with good taste. We are delighted with his work.

Entrance Console

Entrances are small, but they handle a lot. This family needed a better way to keep theirs tidy, so we designed a console where everything has a place. The top drawer has cubbies for sorting mail by recipient, the middle drawer holds everyday items like sunglasses and wallets, and the bottom drawer hides a shredder and recycling bin to make short work of junk mail.

Smaller Works

Coat Rack

Cast-iron giraffe hooks give this wall-mounted coat rack a playful personality, and the warm wooden board keeps it grounded. Children love it, and it's mounted low enough for them to hang up their own coats.

Marlo's Tractor

Modeled on a real tractor, this piece is built from walnut and maple, with rounded walnut wheels and a metal steering wheel. The name on the side was CNC-carved for a personal touch.

Custom Cutting Boards

Made from leftover offcuts from other projects, these walnut and maple boards turn scraps into gifts. The rectangular boards feature a thin maple stripe set into the walnut, and the long paddle boards have a hole at the end for hanging. Each one has softly rounded edges and a food-safe finish.
